Time to get excited all over again as Wolf + Lamb pull Nick Monaco’s stunning, genre encompassing, ‘Private Practice’ out of the bag and on to your dancefloor. Proudly throwing the cliqued rulebook out of the window in the process, acting in anticipation of September’s debut album, this quirky sometimes funky number does nothing else but ignites the senses with its distinctive vocal harmonies and arrangement of particular sounds. The ‘Unclubbed’ version follows on by stripping it back to the lone voice accompanied by tender Rhodes chords and splashes of bassline revealing the song’s inner strength. The heartfelt sincerity of, ‘I Can’t Breathe Without You’ then proceeds to deliver more of that same quality, with Wolf + Lamb’s Club Mix adding sassy percussion alongside a tougher backing to the sentiments.
