New act Night Buffalo obviously listen to Switch a lot, check ‘Hard Times’ and its sick mixture of twisted house, electro and techno. Although they don’t quite match their master’s level insanity, the track works from the word go, an unpredictable clubby groove packed with fun programming tricks and original use of vocal samples. On the flip Dylan Rhymes takes the track towards tight breakbeat territory.
