Another of Soma’s guest slots welcomes Mr Safras [of Material Series fame] and the esteemed Mr Broom, who’s planted a few bombs here before. Their lead cut goes for the jugular with a charging slab of full-throttle, trousers-down sonic attack, stripped down to allow the track to build via throbbing bass and riff action, rising to a crescendo leaving fizzy vapour trails and a colossal skid-mark on the dancefloor. ‘Stutter’ sets up a 90s-style housey shuffle while ‘Please’cooks up a malevolent, tribal-tinged stomp to finish off those left standing after ‘Jelle’.
