Paul Davis is on fine form & back again with his Ku De Ta imprint. “Contact” cuts up & beefs up the Edwin Star disco classic, layering & filtering it, whilst adding all sorts of percussive tricks that propel it (all together now) “Across the crowded disco room… “Sunshine” on the flip goes down a tripped out funk route, driving a low slung groove through a city shimmering in the haze. Somebody hose me down for gawd sake.
