The Black Ghosts return with their most sinister cut to date. ‘Some Way
Through This’ sees Theo cooking up a smoldering cauldron of sizzling
electric strings, boosted with solid beats straight out of the dub chamber,
whilst Simon vents his frustration with a slightly sick & twisted vocal. ‘If
my hands were around your throat, would you tell me what I need to know’.
‘Some Way Through This’ comes with an excellent floor rocker of a remix,
courtesy of The Replicants, who deliver pounding 4/4 rhythms and driving
bass, shot through with fuzzy elektrikery, which leads up to an anthemic
chorus that Beth Ditto would be proud of. Sparks are gonna fly.
