This is simply a massive record for us, ticking as it does all our boxes for heart stopping, club pounding, dancefloor destroying house in 2007. Present and correct are massive twisted rave hooks, spot on for the firing drums with a touch of minimal programming and full marks for a top quota of the type of wackiness that we associate with a Southern Fried release. The “Detroit” edit, by Mr Nathan Detroit is the one that has been firing up our dance floors, floating our boats and getting our knickers in a twist. He has taken the already heavyweight original and savagely exorcised the lean fat; resulting in a mix that sounds like a hyped up toddler playing around with two copies of the track. Elsewhere, Fuzzy Hair fatten things up a little bit and add a certain big room ambience. It’s not quite as immediate as the original and the edit but may work well for some.
