You can’t beat Positiva these days when it comes to disco-house with a pop twist. Another license from Noctural Groove, ‘Lovin’ You’ ain’t a cover of the Minnie Ripperton classic but a proper song from two Swedish producers, Poker Pets, and a rising male vocalist, the soulful Nate James. Remix-wise ATFC do their funky house thang whilst Raul Rincon goes old-school balearica with a nostalgic piano riff (125). On a dubbier tip Yoshitoshi’s Behrouz turns out a stoned re-rub that grooves along (124).
