Protocol continues its mission as a purveyor of fine and pumping, progressive electronic dance music with this megolithic mainroom crowdpleaser. It’s standard R3hab mainroom mayhem but Nicky Romero boosts all the levels beyond until every speaker cone is trembling in fear of its life. There’s a super special drop which bounces on a tightrope until it fans out into a celebratory synth-led lap of honour. The growling ‘Rip It Up’ vocal whips it into a dancefloor tornado and that’s why it tears it up everywhere it’s played. It’s a monster.
