Usually a label to run a mile from, unless you’re playing anonymously fast ‘n’ furious club churners, but here Richard Grey offers something a bit different for the US label. “Paranoid” twists a rubbery synth line over well-programmed beats, building and generating some good tension, keeping the interest throughout. “Subrocking” goes for a more direct route, punchy drums and whomping b-line over stabbing synths. And it’s still got the Gossip trademark dance ’til your legs fall off attitude, too.
