This big anthemic vocal tune from Robbie Rivera’s stable originally around three years ago is back for another round on 3 Beat offshoot Blue. Riviera’s mix is a large euphoric houser – kinda old-school with a big sound – whilst the original is more conventional but still bouncy. Now with so many remixes shooting in so many directions ‘One Eye Shut’ should find favour with house djs the world over. Mark Knight goes rocky electroclash (better late than never), Funkagenda do their minimal thang, Angello & Ingrosso sample Ghostbusters for a very Les Rythmes Digitales rendition, last Stonebridge does what he’s well known for.
