Ross Evans has done that difficult thing of making a bassline feel striking and original all at the same time. And it’s that bass which drives the track forward giving it an unmistakable edge which alongside the pounding beats and shuffling percussion feels particularity irresistible. Not a lot else happens apart from some snippets of vocal adding extra rhythm, but what it does do it does effectively. Next ‘Off The Chain’ again hits you with punchy beats coupled this time with imaginative sound effects creating an enticing rhythm section punctuated by exploding snares.
