It’s been a couple of years since Rune RK and Underwater’s last outing together. So was it worth the wait? ‘Day In The Dark’ takes the prime spot on this 3 tracker, kicking off with a warm subby bass riff, that’s got a classic house feel but also sounds refreshingly new. As the riff twists & turns over a driving 4/4 kick, firing percussion builds pushing the fucked up layering keyboards into overdrive, reaching a hands in the air ecstasy climax moment. On the flip you’ll find two mixes of ‘Less Rock’, a techno infused number that pushes all the right buttons. Rune RK is back with a double header that definitely rattles the grey matter, as well as turning the floor into a gurning heaving mass.
