Sade has always lent a touch of class to any house remixers discography, ‘Pearls’ is one of the most beautiful tracks in her arsenal. Timo Jahns adds a soulful funk bass line pulse, clicking syncopated beats – handclaps, claves and then the strings paint it with vibrant, emotional colours whilst Sade’s vocal perfumes it with incense smoke. Beautiful. Perfect end of the night track.
