Not for the first time comparison’s to Lil Louis’ epochal ‘French Kiss’ are likely to made when listening to the Muzzaik Dub from one of Portugal’s major DJs. Having picked up the prestigious awards for best newcomer and DJ of the year, his production debut, whilst airing more on the tech side of house, is a great account opener – not least thanks to some equally strong remix support from Phonique and Lopazz. Simplicity is the key.
