When four of the world’s hottest dance producers get together for a studio session you know something very special is about to be born, and with no exception, they have delivered an anthem of epic proportions. Instantly recognizable on the floors with it’s lately bass intro that drops into a seriously heavy kick drum and the build is on. While the teasing vocals of Deborah Cox creep up on you and launch those hairs on the back of your neck to pay attention the killer piano break is in and implores us to touch the sky.
From then on its lift after lift as the track grows in size to the point of exhaustion and emotion. Onto the hot new Dirty South remix that has been seriously sought after from it’s teasing in Miami. The big piano and bass is all there to please the faithfully but what happens over the next 8.30 mins is amazing, with a lush and haunting string arrangement woven into the groove it creates a moment of fear then instant euphoria and the club is as one.
Pure genius on everyone’s part in this project and deserves to rule the waves as 2009’s house anthem.
