Two of the brightest and busiest names on the disco-house scene finally unite on this mighty record. Solitaire, the Anglo-American duo hook up with the mighty UK diva Katherine Ellis.  Following up their hefty 2003 smash ‘I Like Love (I Love Love)’, Solitaire aka Lewis Dene& Albert Castillo Join forces with Katherine for a whopping slice of house heaven for K Klass’sMuzik-K imprint. Laced with a retro disco vibe complete with an infectious funky bass, the ‘Original Mix’ is built around a 70’s inspired groove spliced with contemporary punchy beats, dramatic breakdowns and an almighty soulful vocal from Mrs Ellis. Solitaire  are Lewis Dene & Albert Castillo, best known for their breakthrough smash, ‘I Like Love (I Love Love)’ – a huge international hit in 2003 that spent 15-weeks in top 40 of the Australian sales chart and ended up as the third biggest UK club record the year in both the DJ magazine and Music Week club charts. While on the remix front they’ve enjoyed considerable success with chart topping mixes that have included Rihanna’s ‘Don’t Stop The Music’ and Donna Summer’s ‘I’m A Fire’, with an equally eclectic discography of restylings for Mick Jagger, Paramore, MusiqSoulchild, Young Punx, Danity Kane, Gym Class Heroes, Reza, Static Revenger and dozens more. As to the men behind Solitaire, Lewis Dene has been at the cutting edge of dance music for almost two decades. A respected DJ and HedKandi resident in the USA, the former Radio 1 producer (Danny Rampling, Pete Tong and Judge Jules), is also an accomplished music journalist for many dance publications not least our very own DMC Update. Albert Castillo as half of the hot NY dance production team Al B. Rich, others may be familiar with his work with the chart-topping group Mynt scoring a crossover hit with ‘How Did You Know?’. It’s more than likely that you’ve danced to his beats on reworkings for Christina Aguilera, Janet Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Dido, Pink, Joss Stone and Kelly Clarkson.

Katherine Ellis has been called to the UK’s answer to Loleatta Holloway, and justifiably so as one of dance music’s most respected and versatile singer/ songwriters. A mainstay of the genre past and present, Katherine has been making records since 1990 and is currently the voice behind the chart-topping act, Bimbo Jones. The seasoned singer has also enjoyed considerable success fronting hits for the Freemasons (‘When You Touch Me’), Ruff Driverz (‘Dreaming’), Roger Sanchez (‘Lost’), Joey Negro (‘Make A Move On Me’), and on a more underground tip, has collaborated with Meat Katie, Dylan Rhymes, Lee Coombs and Tom Stephan.
