Parisian DJ Fudge turns his attentions to this latest Solu Music production and comes up with something both fresh sounding and revitalising. The percussion groove packs a funky punch while Kai Martin’s distinctive vocals command your attention throughout, and as demonstrated on the ‘Fudge Dub’ the electronic sounds keep it all feeling contemporary. Which then leaves second track ‘Tenement’ to get the ‘Solu’s Brotha Sista Dub’ treatment resulting in a lively rhythmic workout with plenty of Afro feeling.
