Sonny Fodera delivers his debut album for Cajmere/Green Velvet’s Cajual label in his own inevitable style i.e. hot and heavy. This tempting combination of pounding House music played out alongside a notable array of guest collaborations keeps the temperature high while also varying the mood just enough to keep your attention locked throughout. Funkier, more soulful numbers include the Natalie Conway sung, ‘Mind Games’ and the concluding, captivating ‘Everything You Want’ featuring Ari Lourdes. Of course there are plenty of tougher moments to be had too with the Doorly assisted ‘Rainbows’ being a twisted standout, as are the sleazier vibes of ‘Its Your Life’ with the voice of Juliet Fox taking centre stage.
