Coming on like Max Headroom & The Tom Tom Club having a night out with Tricky, “Wanna Get Wet” is the first single to be lifted from Soul Mekanik’s much lauded album “Eighty One”. The Extended Album Edit stretches the disco shenanigans to a fun loving 8 minutes, & Soul Mekanik also provide a nice floaty dub. Nick Fanciulli as Buick Project turns in a sterling acid mix, that’s perfectly built for those smoke machine & strobe moments, while Dexter finishes off in fine electro breaks style.
