Time stretched vocals seem to be a thing now, so it pays to at least sniff out the best of the bunch. SRTW’s ‘We Were Young’ happily comes into the ‘best of’ category with its timestretched vocal melody, swathes of strings, clicking rim shots, rubbery kick and lazily strummed guitar. That Sascha makes his music totally analog and without computer should be noted and respected. This kicks.
