Originally billed as The Migrants by Play Paul, this Paul de Homem-Christo (of Buffalo Bunch fame) creation has been bubbling under since February 2005. A lot has happened in the intervening time, with Universal’s offshoot imprint picking up the Lowered releases and now adding a plethora of new versions. Leading the way is Boris Dlugosch with a taunt electro-etched version; Raul Rincorn’s shuffling percussion-driven version a close second. Add into the pot the in-form TV Rocks and Kurd Maverick with their respective styles and finally the brother of Daft Punk’s Guy Manuel gets the remixes to enable it to finally boil over.
