Strictly Rhythm is indeed arguably the most significant record label of the 90’s. Having begun in 1989 and quickly becoming the centrepiece for the House sound of the following decade their influence very much still resonates today with a new generation of producers. Released on both vinyl and digital this can only really be said to be an essential addition to your record collection, informing you of the history of the music just as it also provides an unsurpassed Club soundtrack. DJ T. has chosen a selection of favourites, many of which you will recognise but perhaps a few you won’t be familiar with too, and has re-edited the complete compilation while thankfully retaining the essence of the label. From DJ Pierre to Logic’s classic ‘The Warning’ all the bases are hit upon from deeper moments through to the celebratory and are featured both as part of a continuous mix plus unmixed tracks. Two words: Strictly Rhythm.
