THE EGG
WALKING AWAY
CR2

The original version of The Egg’s “Walking Away” is a breathy duet over strung out but gently strummed guitars. However there’s a couple of remixes from Germany that have turned it on it’s head & now it’s getting heavy rotation in the places where it’s at. Tocadisco’s mix was the first to get the floor heaving, picking up the accolade of Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune along the way, but it’s Kiki of B-pitch Control & Poker Flat fame that has now really put the cat among the pigeons, as soon as you hear the bells toll at the start, you know you’re in for a bit of an adventure, reaching ecstatic high peaks & dropping into rumbling valleys, as you glide across far & distant mythical lands on the journey of a lifetime. This already sounds amazing when you’re straight, fuck knows what it must be like when you’re off your tits.
