David Morales’ delivers his long overdue Face record after an equally lengthy hiatus keeping the name in hibernation; it’s only taken 8 years to follow “Needin’ U”. For his return he’s plumbed to cover an old C&C Music Factor number from the early-90s, similarly surrounding himself with some old and trust friends, like keyboard wizard Eric Kupper and vocalist Nicki Richards, who respectively handle this retro-sounding remake with ease. Ripe once more for crossover radio pickings with an abundance of pop accessibility that will do anything but alienate the dance producer’s core club market.
