DJ 3000’s label continues to chart its single-minded path into pure techno groove delirium by showcasing its supremo alongside Detroit’s South Union [Fabrice Lig and Jean Vanesse]. 3000’s ‘Face Your Fate’ is a typically percussive-driven kneesup, booted by ‘you can’t deny this’ vocal bite and tough bass chug offset by ethereal strings. Rabbits drop their strides during the drop. South Union’s ‘Our Rhythm And Sound’ is Motor City heaven incorporating Basic Channel and German-style sonic fondles to deadly effect which 3000 gets hold of with percolating undertow. Nothing but quality.
