This charming single from the duo formerly known as The Sound Of Bailey plays on wistful melodies and poetic lyrics that put in mind of easy listening with a twist. It’s completely addictive, if you like this sort of thing of course, with its shuffling rhythm and piano accompaniment providing the snappy finger-clicking backdrop to a crisp three or so minutes. Second track, Evenings Spent With You sounds like folk to begin with and then ends up being somewhat epic and cinematic. Very impressive.
