Jaymo and Andy George’s Moda Black explores the tech house shadows with Theo Kottis’ release ‘Human Chemistry’. The title track is a druggy, spaced out excursion with a spiky punky / goth female vocal that blends together to create a tech house opus that sits well with the likes of Solomun / The Foals. ‘Want To Be’ dives deeper than Moby Dick for a wobbly and wild tsunami, with crashing effects, rumbling soundwaves and rolling beats to drive the point into your brain like an offshore drill. Thick like crude, dense like a magic forest.
