An outstanding production from Mr Gandey sees the producer enter dark territory via a range of tempting sonic possibilities. And what’s so engaging about, ‘I Wanna Know’ is that not only is it supremely funky with its lush basslines, but also the hypnotic textures played out by intriguing synthesisers. Never short of a creative moment this even has a melodic pay-off (of sorts) at mid-point. The remix comes from Philipp Ort and Scott D’Souza aka taMe and feels punchier than the original while acting as a tougher compliment.
