Tieks – Sing That Song – (Tieks)

I do love me a good, rubbery kick – add a stripped down, self-effacing arrangement married with vocals that draws its energy from the roots of the earth to the wellspring of life up to the ceiling of the sky and a simple lo-fi synth line that warbles away to the end and TIEKS gives you one of those underground, sing a long, sing-song tracks that could do some serious crossover damage. It’s beautiful.
