“The Miscreant” is the first appetizer for Rich Thair & Jake One’s debut Toob album, “How To Spell Toob”. Opening with a reversed throbbing bass, which makes a snap happy David Bailey go weak at the knees, while dubbed up claps, hits & brass stabs fuck around with his grey matter, in true Thair style, then in kicks the 4/4, alongside the main synth hook, now we are definitely cooking. Distant vocals are added to the pot, with a spicey sprinkling of effects. Creating a wicked brew that gradually evaporates on a bed of sombre strings. Elite Force provide dessert in the shape of an acid laced port & lemon trifle, an absolute taste explosion. Does it wet your appetite? I’m positively dribbling.
