It’s good to be reminded that dance music is for all seasons, not just sun kissed Miami or Mediterranean venues, and Pacha’s selection for this double CD is right on the money. Luis Lopez spins a set of house with a commercial slant – the familiar Michael Gray or Soul Central complemented by Open Air and Jeremy Sylvester. CD2 opts for a chunkier, darker vibe in a Subliminal style, with some bass heavy stompers from Jose De Divina and the superb Ceballos track ‘Low Frequencies’. Handsomely packaged, and highly recommended.
