A regular on the turntables of all the usual suspects back-in-the-day, including David Morales, Masters At Work, Todd Terry, Murk Boys, Danny Tenaglia, Tony Humphries, Erick Morillo, Junior Vasquez…. and with reputedly over 100,000 copies sold of Blast’s original 1994 club hit it’s a wonder it’s taken so long for this to surface again. Bearing in mind we live in a recycle or die dance world where at times it feels like last week’s club hit is next week’s remake contender! As to the new version it’s in the skilful hands of Nicola Fasano & Steve Forest that the beats are massaged to once again create that feel-good factor that the Reel 2 Real-inspired number initially offered; there’s a sparser and equally hypnotic Dankann remix too.
