The fourth release on Speak sees Codek supremos Sashsa Crnobrnja and Alex Gloor creating a spangled space-disco epic from swirling synth chords, bottomless pads and ethereal strings congealing like gas in the universe to form a rolling groove whose master-stroke is a live and funky slap-bass. The effect is hyponotic and head-spinning. The flip’s ‘Additional Alpha Blocker’ mines a heavier, deeper electro-disco vein to emerge holding aloft another winner. Hallucinogenic heaven all round.
