Two transatlantic greats and dance innovators combine with slightly predictable results. The leader of the Zulu Nation adds his groundbreaking electrophonic phunk chants, while Rocky, Diesel & Ashley supply the stark Leftfield-meets-Kraftwerk inspired grooves. It’s far from revolutionary (but musical what is these days?), yet still radical enough to gain attention and column inches. Although with the remixed reissue of the David Byrne paired hit ‘Lazy’ imminent, it may become overshadowed after all.
