I love it when I get an EP that makes me want to hijack the decks at any party – and Yvan Gennkins’ ‘Mouth To Laugh’ EP makes me feel like your worst party nightmare – rocks up with her own tunes, won’t leave until she’s played them all at least twice. It’s all about the Gattling groove, the vocal loop and stuttery flutter, the punchy funk and the disco dancefloor, sirens blaring slam dunk. Pick any track – pick a winner. If only every four track EP was this strong.
