Lee Foss’ Repopulate Mars presents this brooding and rather gorgeous production from Justin Jay. Not only does this feature a smouldering vocal car off Josh Taylor but ‘Make You Mine’ positively sizzles with an intense energy reflected by its score of dark yet finely tuned rhythms. Next is ‘Climbing Trees’ which sees more restrained vocals this time over plucked west-coast guitar played across another tempting production. Leaving the Lee Curtiss & Alex Nazar remix of the title track to sequence shuffling, addictive drums together with probing bass and those vocals.
