Klevakeys; aka UK don Adam Agnilleri returns with his second studio album ‘Elevation’ on his very own House Keys Records label. As the man really digs deep he is able to give us a real insight into his musical journey, versatility and huge talent the man has. What you get is a sometimes deep, partly Afro influenced, partly progressive long player that should have a place in every record bag.Tracks like ‘Elevation’ and ‘Land of 1000 Drums’ are just amazing pieces of HOUSE driven by drums and rhythms that will certainly shake up any club. Klevakeys also changes up the styles throughout the album with some traditional sound of house. Tracks like ‘Drop It’, ‘A Deeper Groove’, ‘Oxygen’ and ‘We Can’t Stop’ are all coming from the man’s earlier house music influences which you can clearly hear.
But if you think that this is a pure House album, you are wrong because songs like ‘The Quest’ ‘No 24’ and ‘Dirty Hook’ show that Adam has a liking for downtempo tracks as well. Needless to say that those tracks fit rather perfectly to our current summer mood. Top!
