These two have been turning a few heads lately with their smouldering Techy flavours on MoodMusic and Stereo Productions. Now on Favouritizm, Klondique unveil their very first EP project – ‘Light & Dark EP’. The package carries 2 distinctively powerful tracks – ‘Evolution’ comes with incessant loops of melodic electronica that oscillate over a thick bass stabs, techy beats and drizzled with heavenly piano licks to lift the crowd. ‘Back Track’ sees the duo step into the dark side with brooding bass stabs, breathy vocals, synth attacks and animated beats. It’s both simple and complicated, intelligent and atmospheric and bursting with tension in all the right places.
