Moon Harbour know a thing or two about kicking out tech house jams, and that is mainly thanks to the A&R and leadership of label boss Mathias Tanzmann. He is a master of his art and here he links up with Sven Tasnadi a deep house don who has also released on Smallville. Between them the pair cook up three hot cuts.
Such A Thing goes first and is a turbocharged cut with slinky drums, woodpecker like hits and great textures. It is the sort of jam that will go down a storm on the DC10 terrace this summer. Teo Teo is next and is a more tribal tune with fat kicks undermining soft percussive patterns and loose toms. It’s a functional cut but will lead to plenty of fun, I’m sure. Lastly, Coriolis is the best of the bunch with its tender raining melodies, deep surges of sub bass and insistent groove lulling you into a trance. This is another sure fire winning package.
