As a pre-cursor to his forthcoming album, Optimism, Fly Away finally gets a release having destroyed dancefloors the length and breadth of the country for the last 18 months. Lifting a vocal hook from ‘As’ this has now received the blessing of Stevie Wonder himself. As with most of Gray’s releases, ‘Fly Away’ boasts impeccable production values, with a killer bassline sculpted to perfection with the vocals. If this is a sign of things to come, then prepare for big things when the album drops later this year.
