Nicholson – Reverent (The Album) [Tidy Two]

Edging his way into the Top 30 trance artists on Beatport recently, and following a number 1 with his much celebrated rework of Jam & Spoon’s 90’s club classic ‘Right In The Night’, Nicholson unleashes months of hard work in the form of his first ever artist album on Tidy Two. Reverent, a collection of no less than 14 solid productions kicks off with driving prog-trance numbers Butterflies, and the notably-ibiza inspired ‘Sunstroke’, naturally raising energy levels towards the high octane signature sound that he is so well accustomed to. The quality is high throughout, and it’s great to see hugely talented names such as Paul Skelton, and rave vocalist Niki Mak joining the party. Check in on class acts Industria, Moviegods & Rockstars and Rare Lights, but it’s great stuff all round.
