After a two year hiatus Will Brunner (aka 60/40) is back with a complete double pack. On top of the original mix, 16 Bit Lolitas turn out driving yet haunting dub & vox mixes (125 BPM). Ozgür Can does well with a fucked-up reinterpretation that makes good use of the vocals whilst twisting the nasty groove (127). However he faces tough competition from René Maesz who opts for dark vision that seriously rocks; check that manic funky drumming (127). The same Amesz also drops a solid double pack offering four druggy grooves worth investigating. ‘Red Soda’ (125) is the choice cut but the rest works well too (124/126/123).
