Trance is all about the riff. Now there’s been so many that to make an impression these days you really need to get on the case. Galen Behr’s got it spot on. Positive and anthemic, ‘Time Will Tell’ is trance with a glorious euro-pop feel: a catchy melody, crossover appeal and not a grinding synth in sight. Silent Electra’s ‘Polarity’ is another winner with its mix of euro melodies and techy edges. Head straight to Jochen Miller’s mix, musical with loud production and impressive highs and lows. His mix grabs you from start to end without being too forceful (also Hemstock & Jennings remix).
