After a six year hiatus Andy Perring (aka Pulser) and Tim Stark (one half of Rapid Eye) get together again for a slice of pumping melodic trance based on filtered keyboard chords (in typical ‘My Lexicon’/’Xpander’ fashion).
‘Starfighter is a simple, to the point, stormer that will work for all ravey DJs into uplifting sounds. Jonas Steur pumps things up a notch with Dutch panache by adding widescreen pads, restless percussion and a schizophrenic b-line. US producer Skyform is the latest addition to the Atcr/Etcr emporium. ‘Infinite’ comes in several guises: the large original is highly melodic and epic (à la Corsten on anthemic form), the Sunquest mix (Canadian Ron Bercovitch) takes the euro route for a commercial angle that should attract even more followers.
