When it comes to 21st century prog, this Swiss label is shockingly on the case. Always musical and entertaining, big room (and yet clubby enough for smaller dancefloors), Sog’s releases have digested electro-house but still retain their own identity. With an album pencilled for release in Jan ’07, newly signed act Nop delivers ‘Copy Control Cat’, a different kind of track, European in feel but still hypnotic and groovy. Phatjack step in and pump things up with their chunky beats and fat synths.
