The name Özgür Can keeps creeping up everywhere – and for a reason – the talented scandinavian’s pretty good at doing it all. On ‘The Mingle King’ he brings a fresh electro flavour to his chunky prog-house (123 BPM). There’s techno too, ‘Crazy Menu’ is slow and loopy (111) whilst ‘Sleepless In Stockholm’ is racey and funky (130). ‘Simplicity’ rounds the EP off with a loungy chiller (118). Argentina’s M.O.S debuts on Politik with ‘Bogatell’. Well put together, the Gene Carbonell lush remix steals the show with a dreamy yet pumping affair that takes you places – not least because of the hooky claves line nicked to Tears For Fears (128).
