PAUL VAN DYK FEAT. WAYNE JACKSON
THE OTHER SIDE
POSITIVA

Teaming up with the one-time lead singer of The Dostoyevskys, Wayne Jackson, Paul Van Dyk presents possibly his most uncomplicated – and, conversely – mature release yet. Jackson’s voice adds weight to a furiously paced groove that, tempo aside, looks over it’s shoulder to classic Blue Monday era New Order, shrouded in meaningful strings and moody keys. The Radio Edit brings this out to tremendous effect and should guarantee massive radio play. Deep Dish lend a hand with a typically epic (in their best tradition) mix, managing to traverse funk-fuelled, electronic house to harder edged beats and a lush, Balearic styled pay-off. Mark Spoon provides a mix which will appeal to breaks / electro floors, and finally Martin Roth wraps it up with a frenetic, harder, faster remix, for those that like it that way. Whatever the mix of choice, this is classic anthemic pop dressed up in clubland’s finest clobber, and a future classic.
