New kid on the trance block, John O’Callaghan is picking up plaudits from leading jocks and deservedly so. His wide sounding remix of Perpetual Motion’s ‘We Are All Here Together’ is a full on hi-NRG affair, like the rushy score to some grand epic movie – think Ferry Corsten at his best only with a zest of amphetamine euro-disco thrown in (139 BPM). Not quite as lush and racey, the original starts off with a Moroder b-line and soon turns into ravey mayhem. On ‘Restricted Motion’, O’Callaghan and compere Kearney crank the uplifting factor to 11 and come up with an epic trancer that’s (again) particularly well produced (139).
