Following their diverse ‘Dirty Sunday EP’ on Dave Seaman’s Audio Therapy imprint, Phatjack are going peaktime with two, particularly phat, electro-prog cuts on Nascent. Druggy but not quite deep, ‘Groovebox’ and ‘Bitches’ are off the wall tools that keep you focussed all the way. Loud synths, efficient drops, reversed samples, grainy filters, the Greek duo’s moved one gear up with a full sound that rocks.
