‘Journey’ is lifted from Subway’s excellent debut album ‘Empty Head’, & in it’s original form, it’s got a mellow early 90’s percussive feel, as distant keys float in & around the mix, gently fazing with the complex rhythms. ‘Journey’ comes backed with a superb remix courtesy of Todd Sines, who ups the ante a tad, but still keeps the all important floaty vibe, adding layers of key pads & riff that’s along the lines of Carl Craig’s ‘Desire’. Classy techno for posh soirees.
